Seller note:

1988 STAMAS 288 Liberty 30'2" Twin 2006 Four Stroke F225's Yamaha outboards with almost 5 years left on the warranty. 30'2" not counting the bracket and outboards with a huge 11'2" beam. it is 288 because the 28' does not count the pulpit or the bracket and outboards. the boat weighs 10,000lbs plus. it has an amazing ride in rough water thanks to its weight and huge beam. And its a STAMAS! a nice dry ride. this is the same hull and layout as the Stamas 310 except now they integrate the bracket instead of a bolt on. has a full size mid-berth bed and a huge v-berth. sleeps 4 easily. i repowered this boat 1 year ago with the 225's, a new mattson marine bracket with swim platforms, garmin [removed phone]" screen) with the gsd 21 black box and a thru hull bronze 50/200 transducer, uniden commercial vhs, stainless base antenna, sirius satelite, cd with 4 speakers and 2 10" subs, air conditioning, almost all new wiring, all new lighting in cabin and out, new running lights, a hard top off of a 38'...

The boat surveyed for $96,000 just one year ago. A new Stamas 310 with twin Yamaha 4 strokes would cost you over $200,000. This has the same hull, same layout and the same 2006 outboards but at 1/4 the price and you dont have to worry about spilling a little fish blood on the deck of if your buddy knocks his sinker in the side because it is a 1988. I cant begin to describe how well this boat does in big water. I was able to troll in a king fish tourney with 8 seas. Water came over the nose only twice the whole day and that ran down the huge walkway and over the gunnels. We stayed dry. Please do your research about Stamas Yachts. They hold their value for good reason. They are over engineered and it shows with the weight. They use solid fiberglass and gel coat everywhere. No paneling and foam cores on this boat like a lot of the 80s boats. I can email more pictures and answer any questions. The boat is in the water available for test rides. i can deliver via the gulf or you will need a tri-axle trailer (not included) for a 28-30 or preferably a 30-32 boat to trailer it. I had a loadmaster 26-28 and this boat was a bit big for it. If you would feel more comfortable, then I can ride along to the delivery point and show you the ins and outs of the boat. I hate to see it go but I gotta do what I gotta do. Family and education before fishin I guess! Thank you for taking the time to view The Lucky Son!
